Saginaw Gardens Apartment

The Saginaw Gardens project is a seven-storey total precast apartment building located in Cambridge, Ontario.

Located at 650 Saginaw Parkway in the desirable east Cambridge Saginaw neighbourhood, the luxurious concrete building has quick access to Highway 401 and is close to recreational activities, including shopping and restaurants. The apartment consists of 122 exceptionally appointed suites featuring efficient and modern layouts demanded by quality tenants.

Coreslab Structures (ONT) Inc. started installing the underground parking onsite in April 2014 and completed installation of all products by the end of August 2014.

The multi-unit total precast apartment building included over 1,220 pieces of precast concrete including: 

  • 10” hollow core (approx. 154,000 SF)
  • 126 solid precast balconies
  • 30 solid precast landings
  • 29 precast stairs units
  • 83 solid precast floor slabs
  • 41 precast beams
  • 75 precast columns 
  • 866 exterior insulated load bearing and interior solid precast wall panels

Killam Properties Inc. has engaged HIP Developments & Melloul Blamey Construction, one of Southern Ontario's largest construction firms, to be the project's development and construction manager.
