Job Title: Senior Regional Engineer – Western Canada

The Senior Regional Engineer – Western Canada will reside in Western Canada, and report to both the President and the Director of Technical Services. In addition to providing lead support to the three CPCI Western Canada regional chapters (BC, AB, and MB/SK) the candidate will also provide support to the President and other staff on national technical and marketing programs and initiatives for the Institute. Regional activities will include, but not be limited to; being the local technical resource to CPCI members and clients, organizing and facilitating the regional chapter meetings, conducting lunch and learns with the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) community, acting as a spokesperson to the various industry audiences, representing the industry at conferences, and advocacy where required. Nationally, activities will include, but not be limited to, working as the lead staff person on the Sustainability, Productivity and Safety committee, supporting the other National committees where required, and writing, reviewing and editing technical manuals and best practice documents that are routinely published by the institute.

Job Title: Estimating Manager

This position is responsible for leading the Estimating team. As a working manager, the Estimating Manager will assist in the preparation of estimates; gathering and evaluating proposals, reviewing drawings, specifications and other related documents. The Estimating Manager will compute costs by analyzing labor, materials and timeline requirements. The position is located at the Brampton Office and supports operations in both Brampton and Woodstock.
As the Estimating Manager, the ideal candidate requires a leadership style that encourages results-driven, task-oriented collaboration. They must have high attention to detail, a sense of urgency and the ability to make decisions and adjust quickly to changing conditions through practical and efficient methods. In general, this is a position where guidelines, structure and established procedures must be followed closely.

Responsibilities to Include:
• Ensure quality and accurate bids per contract and Company requirements, on time and on budget
• Meet deadlines for project completion with a focus on creating solutions that optimize production and efficiency
• Maintain estimating procedures, models, scope, and proposal templates

Job Title: Project Manager

This position is responsible for a broad scope and encompasses a wide variety of activities in a multi-project environment. It requires frequent shifts in priorities, focus and detail. This is primarily a task-focused job, requiring an authoritative, directive style that encourages results-driven and task-oriented collaboration.

As the Project Manager, the ideal candidate is confident, has initiative and the ability to make decisions and be accountable for those decisions. A well-suited candidate can react and adjust quickly to changing conditions and come up with practical ideas for dealing with them. This job requires self-assurance, competitive drive and relationship building skills. There is a consistent demand for high quality, organized and repeatable results. This position is located at the Brampton office and requires travel to PreCon plants in Brampton and Woodstock, and job sites.

Responsibilities to Include:
• Represent the organization in a professional manner when in contact with clients and consultants
• Act as the primary customer contact from contract award to project completion
• Ensure that contractual terms, conditions, scope and schedules are maintained
